Shine the light on!    14 May, Channel 4 (London, SW1)

Channel 4, with Creative Partnerships, invite you to attend this unique event, which will bring together 100 teachers from across the UK to Channel 4 on 14 May to explore how teachers can spot, cultivate and showcase the brilliant talent that exists in all schools across the country.  

At the event you will be able to hear from and probe experts in talent scouting and development, from a range of fields about how their industries thrive upon harnessing talent;

We will then facilitate a conversation with all participants about how to nurture student talent, and how this can be showcased imaginatively during the Shine Festival week, which takes place 30 June – 4 July nationally.  

The event will provide an opportunity for teachers to connect, share insights, collaborate and innovate. This will be supported by a website which all participants will have access to.  The event will start at 2pm with registration and a light lunch from 1.15pm, and will finish with a drinks reception from 5.30-7pm.  

Channel 4 is able to cover the cost of supply teachers, and any necessary travel and accommodation costs incurred in attending this event. Please ensure you have cleared this with the necessary people / head teacher before registering.
